A Year in Review

Truepoint has never strayed from its fundamental objective - providing top-performing, high-quality investment and wealth advisory services at the lowest reasonable cost. We were founded on the principle that our sole point of loyalty is to our clients. And today, that principle is even more strongly embedded in our culture. As we reflect on the past twelve months, we are thankful for the continued support and confidence that our clients have placed with our firm. Looking towards the future, we are committed to furthering our mission of providing a broad range of wealth advisory services tailored to the needs of our clients.

We would like to take this opportunity to review our highlights for 2007 and provide insight into our 2008 plans:

Equity Participation Plan
In January, we initiated a Truepoint employee equity participation plan and introduced Janel Carroll, Steve Condon and John Evans as new shareholders. In addition to providing for the future continuity of Truepoint Capital, the plan also allows the firm to reward and retain members of its team.

Annual Client Meeting
We held our inaugural annual client meeting at The Cincinnati Art Museum in September. Noted author, psychologist and family advisor Dr. Lee Hausner addressed an audience of nearly 200 on the importance of managing the "business of the family" as one would manage the "business of the business." Plans are already being made for our 2008 annual meeting to be held on September 25, 2008. We expect veteran financial journalist and behavioral finance specialist, Jason Zweig, to be our keynote speaker. Mr. Zweig recently published Your Money & Your Brain - How The New Science of Neuroeconomics Can Help Make You Rich.

Financial Accomplishments
We are pleased to report that Truepoint Capital realized its growth and profitability plan for 2007. We realized record levels of revenues, assets and performance. We are sincerely grateful to those who have referred us to friends and associates and are proud to include them in our private client group.

New Employees
The growth of our practice has allowed us to continually reinvest in the firm in an effort to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive financial advisory service possible. During 2007, Truepoint added four new employees:

• Scott M. Keller - Manager, Investment Advisory Services
• Katrina M. Hartsel - Associate, Business Operations
• Elizabeth B. Niehaus - Associate, Wealth Advisory Services
  

Expanded Office Space
In response to the company's growth, we recently expanded our office space. The expansion includes a new family meeting room with an imported, round-table that comfortably seats fourteen people. Also, two reserved parking spots near the entrance have been earmarked for Truepoint visitors. We encourage you to utilize these spots during your next visit to our office.

Truepath Financial
As we begin 2008 our plans include the introduction of Truepath Financial - a new division of Truepoint, Inc. Consistent with our fundamental beliefs, Truepath was developed for clients who may not require the breadth and depth of the Truepoint Capital service offering. Truepath was created to appropriately meet the wealth accumulation needs of individuals and to manage reliable incomes for retirees. Clients of the new division will receive the identical Truepoint investment management experience with the addition of general financial guidance in areas such as retirement income planning, withdrawal rate analysis and education planning.

Truepath Financial will work with a wider range of individuals by assisting with portfolios valued at $500,000 or more. Truepoint Capital will continue to provide highly customized and broad-based advice to clients at the Wealth Management and Family Office service levels.

In launching this new division, we have asked Wayne A. Lippert, Jr., MBA, to serve as Manager, Financial Advisory Services for Truepath. Many current clients have worked with Wayne in a similar capacity at Truepoint Capital. We also recently added Elizabeth Niehaus to the Truepath team. In addition to Liz's successful completion of the Certified Financial Planner examination, she brings ten years of experience in the financial services field.
